About Sushi Nova - Chicago

All You Can Eat Sushi Restaurant with fresh, and tasteful creations.

Located at 160 N Franklin St Fl 1st, Chicago, IL 60606, Sushi Nova - Chicago operates as a japanese serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chicago, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–3:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (312) 989-3866. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Very worth. Liked the rolls and other stuff a lot. The poke was on some chips -- good. The tuna tartare is great if you like avocado. Had a lot of the appetizers too. I liked the fried oysters and edamame but not so much the tempura shrimp and karaage. Service was great. And I'll have to try their drinks one day. Cute cat display in the front of the store

Had a great time! I think the it’s a great value for the quality, and would definitely come back. The fish portions are generous, the rice is cooked well and nicely seasoned, and there’s some creative and fun roll options. Also enjoyed the appetizers!

Solid sushi spot for all you can eat. The fish always tastes fresh and I haven’t had a roll I don’t like. Essentially every roll is on the all you can eat roll except for a few of their more bougie rolls (I.e. lobster). If you’re in the loop and craving as much sushi as you can eat, it 100% worth a visit.

Great sushi for the prices. They have all you can eat. I didn't do that. I ordered sashimi regular plate. 12 large pieces of fresh flavorful sashimi. Beautiful presentation. Included soup and salad. Cocktails also great. Very fair pricing here. Highly recommend. Only caveat is come with patience for service speed. Worth it though.

Sushi Nova is a great spot for sushi lovers. I ordered the Crab Rangoon, Haru Maki, Angry Dragon Roll, Volcano Roll, and some perfectly crispy tempura β€” everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The rolls had a great balance of texture and taste, the appetizers were delicious, and the tempura was light and not greasy at all. The staff were really nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a nice place to enjoy a casual meal with friends or family. Overall, a solid place for sushi in Chicago, and I’d be happy to come back.
